How We Got Started

The idea for creating these candles began in 2019 with my love for candles and how suddenly I could not love them anymore. For me, lighting a candle creates specific moods that can vary from relaxation to nostalgia. But, when I could not light candles in my home due to the horrible headaches from the scents, I knew I needed to figure out a solution.

After months of research on candles and candle making, I felt confident enough to try and make my own candles that don't make me, or anyone else, sick. Candles with organic wax and eco-friendly, clean essential and fragrance oils. I wanted to make a candle that I could burn everyday and not get sick but, most importantly, not get sick of the scent. I wanted my own signature scent for my home.

So, I created The Wicked Scent Company and the rest is HERstory.
