WSC After Hours: Movie Night — Soul Food (1997)

Every family has a story. And somebody always brings the drama.

We're back for another WSC After Hours Movie Night!

This November, we're trading witchcraft for Sunday dinners, family secrets, and a whole lot of nostalgia with the 1997 classic Soul Food.

Because if there's one thing we know about family gatherings, it's that somebody's going to have something to say. 😂

When production shuts down, the lights go low, the projector comes on, and WSC Studio becomes your intimate neighborhood movie-night spot.

No workshops. No fragrance lessons. No making anything.

Just a good movie, good company, and an excuse to get out of the house.

Your $20 ticket includes

• An intimate screening of Soul Food (1997)

• Fresh popcorn

• One glass of wine for guests 21+

• A featured WSC fragrance setting the mood

• A $5 WSC shopping credit to use that evening

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is WSC After Hours?

It's what happens when we shut down production and turn the studio into our own little hangout spot. WSC After Hours is our intimate event series bringing together good company, curated experiences, and a different side of WSC Studio.

What's included in my $20 ticket?

Your ticket includes admission to the screening, fresh popcorn, one glass of wine, a featured WSC fragrance setting the mood, and a $5 WSC shopping credit to use during the event. Basically, we've handled movie night. You just have to show up.

Where is the event?

At the WSC Studio in Long Island City, Queens. The full studio address will be included in your booking confirmation.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Whether you're flying solo, bringing your bestie, or making it a date night, there's room for you. We're keeping things intimate so everyone can feel comfortable.

Is this a fragrance-making workshop?

Nope. Not a single fragrance strip will be handed out. This is strictly a movie night. We'll have a featured WSC scent setting the atmosphere, but there won't be any blending, pouring, or crafting involved.

How many people will be attending?

We're keeping the guest list to just 12 people. Think intimate movie night with friends, not a crowded movie theater. Once those seats are gone, they're gone.

What is the seating like?

WSC Studio is a working fragrance studio, so we'll be transforming our workshop space into a cozy screening area with comfortable chairs, intimate seating arrangements, and mood lighting. No reclining theater seats, but plenty of atmosphere.

Will there be food and drinks?

We'll have fresh popcorn and one glass of wine included with your ticket. No full meals or additional food service, so we recommend grabbing dinner beforehand. Nonalcoholic beverages will also be available.

How does the $5 WSC shopping credit work?

Every ticket comes with a $5 credit toward an eligible WSC product purchase during Movie Night. It's our little thank-you for spending your Monday evening with us. The credit is valid during the event only and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Can I purchase WSC products during the event?

Of course! A selection of WSC products will be available to explore and purchase. See something you love? Your $5 shopping credit is ready to be put to work.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely, but everyone needs their own ticket. With only 12 seats available, we can't accommodate additional guests without reservations.

Is there an age requirement?

Guests must be 18 or older to attend. Wine will only be served to guests 21 and older with valid identification.

What if I can no longer attend?

Please review the cancellation and ticket-transfer policy listed at checkout. Because seating is extremely limited, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.

Will there be more WSC After Hours events?

That's the plan! Movie Night is just the beginning. We're exploring more ways to bring our community together beyond fragrance-making, from future screenings to other intimate studio experiences.
